I have a quick makeover for you-sorry I forgot the before picture!
The original color was white, and I decided to paint the green right over top of the white .
{I wanted the white to show through when I distressed}
I painted three coats of the green, distressed, glazed with dark walnut stain, and sealed with a wax.
Then I added my signature door knobs.
I love the color, so pretty and springy {is springy even a word?}
I still have to paint the inside of the drawers. If I get that done tomorrow, then this will be in the shop by Friday!
ooh i love that green! and those knobs are killer!
ReplyDeleteLove this! The green is a really great color - especially for spring.
ReplyDeleteI am putting together a post featuring ideas for ways to use vintage doorknobs and would love to include this dresser if you do not mind. (With a link of course). Thanks!
I love the way you layed the mirror frames and of coarse, the dresser!
ReplyDeleteCan I just say again that I wish I was still in Gig Harbor - cuz I want to snap that up!!!

ReplyDeleteI just love that color! Can you tell me what it is called? I have almost the exact same dresser and want to do this! Although mine is currently painted with a high gloss white so I will have to do some serious sanding first. Do share the paint color. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHow much is this dresser if it's still available?
