I have a love of antique children's chairs. It will be a sad day for me when my kids get too big for them. If I could have them in every room I would. What love even more than these little antique chairs, is when these sweeties are painted fun poppy colors.

{Cooper's Room, coffee table painted green with vintage chairs, perfect Lego table}

I think you know by now I prefer a high coffee table, and I usually make my own coffee tables from cut down dining tables. Six inches above the couch seat to me is a perfect height for a coffee table. At this height you can easy fit a child's chair under it.

I even have a child's chair in the corner of my kitchen and it makes a super stool for the kids to stand at the island on {these are very sturdy} or for me to be able to stand on it to reach the highest shelf.

I even have one sitting at the top of my stairs for no reason, I just like the color and shape.

Also, I have a child's chair as  a stool in my bathroom, but that room is a mess, sorry no pictures of that room today!

Yes, it will be a sad day for me when my house isn't filled with little children and little chairs.

  1. Hey there,

    I really love the shape of the red one in your kitchen! They look great - and it will be such a sad day when kiddos aren't around :(

  3. I totally love kid chairs too - there is just something about them. I can't stop buying them and I don't even have any kids. So don't worry,you can definitely keep them scattered about even after your little ones get big. Here's a link to my own post about my obsession with them if you want to stop by sometime.
