I finished one more dresser for the shop yesterday. Many, many hours were put into this makeover. I started painting the piece black, then over the black a blue, then ASCP in Pure White.

 I then distressed the pieces so both the blue and black show and sealed with wax.

This is a big piece and I hope to get it to the store by Thursday. 

I also made a fun family rules sign our of beadboard. I like the beadboard because of the lines. It sort of looks like wide ruled paper to me.

I started with a big frame, had bead board cut to size. Next I painted and distressed the frame and primed the beadboard with black spray primer. I then painted the primed beadboard with chalkboard paint. I screwed the beadboard to the back of the frame and there  you have it! 

I am also bringing this to the store this week. If you don't like my rules simply wipe them off and add your own!
