I adore this little farmhouse dresser. If I kept it for my house I would either put it on my stairway, in my bathroom or in my daughters room. But wouldn't this be cute as a changing table? I am not going to keep it though.  I mean really, how many painted dressers can one lady have {I probably have 10+ in my house right now, or more, gee whiz!}.

I haven't posted this for sale yet {sometime Friday I will} so if you are a blog reader and want it, email me!

Remember what it looked like a few days ago?

I sanded, primed, and added three coats of Willow's Gold by Dutch Boy {this is actually my wall color in my living room and family room}. I love this yellow, it is warm but not bright.
I then distressed the edges, more than I usually do. This dresser is heavy and sturdy but is definitely rustic so I wasn't going to give it a "pristine" finish. Next I added knobs from another dresser I am working on  {this one will have grey glass knobs} that I spray painted a warm yellow. I like that the color yellows are just very slightly different.

I must get back to painting now.
But if you are a Facebook follower you know I have an AMAZING house to show you tomorrow on FHF so come back!

  2. Love this dresser! Absolutely adorable! It's hard to believe that this is the same color yellow as your living room. It looks so different in the pics...must just be the lighting. Definitely a great color! Thanks for being such an inspiration!
