Oh friends, I haven't been painting and the projects are starting to pile up, especially since I have been buying furniture for projects that are either sitting on my front porch, in my living room or in my garage.

I did some thrifting with the kids today and had some good luck. I know, I know no more shopping until I get some of them painted.

I bought an antique picnic bench.

This is going to be painted a crisp cherry red. I can imagine this in someone's entryway or mudroom.

I bought two mirrors. They will both be painted fun colors and the large one might be distressed a bit.

{sorry you can see me in the photo with my running clothes, I know this is a no-no for photo taking, but heck it is summer and we are a bit more relaxed around here}

And lastly a waterfall desk. I love painting desks. I know I am going to paint the pulls black and have a black chair to match but I am not sure what color yet. What do you think? Classic white, or maybe Schoolhouse Slate?

My son found something today to. A toy toilet, really. Urgh, just what every six year old needs, and a crazy mom who bought it for him. But it was only $1.50 and he is so proud.
