My kitten Tucker has a new favorite spot to hang out.
He was constantly sleeping on top of the buffet. I think he likes to be up high and look out the window for birds and squirrels.
I thought he needed a basket.
{can you spot his ears?}
This week I am working only on custom pieces, and next week I am going on work break {giving myself a rest before moving into the shop and after the crazy holiday season}.
I went to look at the shop again today and I am super excited! The space needs work. It is a big raw space but I with a little love it will be great and I am so excited to get all of my finished pieces out of my studio and basement and reclaim my home.
I haven't posted much this week because Camden {my sweet 9 year old} dropped my camera last week when we went to the Nutcracker, and the old stinky camera broke. But a new one is on the way and I am waiting to show you some projects with my brand new fancy schmancy camera {as soon as I get it}.
Thank goodness, it is about time I have some decent pictures for you all.
Speaking of the blog, do any of you know a good blog designer? I am am thinking about changing things up on the blog and I just don't have the time right now to sit down and do it.
Suggestions would be great!
Love your home and hope mine will be as beautiful someday. Would you mind giving me the kitchen paint color? I love the contrast with black and white!
ReplyDeleteThe kitty looks so sweet.
ReplyDeleteI just took some pics of my crazy kitties all wrapped up together since it is so cold today!

Oh, I love that first photo where your kitty's ears are barely sticking out of the basket. Cute dining space, too! Good luck on the new store.
ReplyDeleteYour cat in the basket is too cute! I bet your store will look amazing. I wish my child would drop my camera...a nice excuse to get a new one lol. Also I dont know of a specific designer but I'm searching for one also that is affordable. I found this blog that has a huge list of designers. http://www.customblogdesigners.com/
ReplyDeleteLove the kitty in the basket!
ReplyDeleteI know a great blog designer! Her name is Karen Baker, her blog is http://thebalddragonfly.blogspot.com/
She has a link for blog design, as well as her contact info there.
I love your home & look forward to the shop opening- I'm so plucky to be local!
What a cute photo of your little kitty! Good luck in your new store, such an exciting opportunity!
ReplyDeleteThese ladies know what they are doing when it comes to blogging. Maybe Lyndsay can help you (she designs NieNie's blog, have you heard of her?). Anyhow, it's worth looking in to. http://www.blogguidebook.com/p/about-us_30.html?m=1
