I am typing this post with one hand today. I am holding the most adorable six week old orange kitten. He slept curled up in my arms all night last night.
We don't have a name for him yet but I am in love, he is a major sweetie and doesn't want to be alone. He was hanging around with me while I painted yesterday. I will have pictures of this little guy soon, but we need a name. Any suggestions? We have two other cats {yes now we have three cats, and we are done, no more-we are cat people} that are named after Boo and Pumpkin. We are not sure if we should stick with the halloween name theme for this guy though.
I found a house for fhf. I love the exterior of this home, and the view! I am mostly showing this home for the structure, not the decor {except I really do love the decor in the kitchen and dining room}. Not that the decor is bad {of course it isn't!} it is just not spectacular {don't tell anyone I said that-now I feel bad}.
{amazing right!}

Have a good weekend!
Since I am drinking a pumpkin spice latte right now, I think you should name the cat "Spice" hahaha :)
ReplyDeleteWe are cat people too, and we have three cats. Let me tell you it was a real hoot to move all the way across the whole country with them - good, good times :) But, who could live without them right!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend - I am missing WA!

Okay so not really a cat person but I DO love that house! Where is it again and how much are they asking??? We are in the market for a new home! LOL! Anyhow, would you happen to be going to rust n ruffles next weekend? I am! Would love to meet you and have a face to face...maybe some coffee? Hope you had an awesome Friday!
ReplyDeleteI'm a lurker on your lovely blog (and in your shop) ,but had to comment on your new cat . . . we are cat people too (have 5!) and also dogs (2) and have our own "Pumpkin" (a white cat with orange polka dots). His best buddy is our tiger stripe cat named "Mango," but to us he's the World's Best Cat -- so much charisma. Orange cats are the best!
ReplyDeleteFeel free to steal the name if it fits! Congrats on your new addition. ;-)
How about "Peaches" ? (for the kitty)
ReplyDeleteWe have an orange kitty named Figgins....it is my most favorite kitty name and fits him perfectly! :-)
ReplyDeleteWe are cat people too! Have fun with the new addition...Thanks for sharing this house...WOW, it is beautiful...I am a fan of all the craftsman touches!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home with a picture perfect view! Love all the molding details. I also voted for you for the Versatile Blogger award:) You can check it out here. http://thecorsoncottage.blogspot.com/2011/10/little-bit-about-me.html

Just found you and love the house you showed! I've always had cats also, right now we have 2. Our black one's name is Jinx, Years ago I took my Aunt a little orange kitten and they named him Tang afer the juice. I also have a friend whose cat is Spice. Good Luck on the names!
